“Explain that,” Scarlett said.

“Not now.”

“You don’t get to say a thing like that and then —”

“I said not now.” Kaiden turned his back on her and put both hands on the barrier, feeling for the shape of it. “In about ninety seconds they’re going to start taking this apart. If we’re both alive at the end of it I’ll tell you every word I know, and it won’t take long, because it isn’t much.”
