The Forest Without Footprints
Synopsis
In the ancient village of Alura, hidden deep within misty forests, the inhabitants transform into ephemeral werewolves with every full moon to contain an ancient darkness threatening to consume the world. This ritual, passed down through generations, felt less like protection and more like chains to Mirra, stripping her of freedom. One night, driven by a desire to uncover the curse's origins, she defies tradition and remains outside the village. This decision leads to unexpected consequences: Mirra not only becomes a werewolf but awakens within herself a power capable of altering reality and breaking the boundaries between light and darkness. It is then she meets Thanos, the enigmatic guardian of Alura, whose wolf form is not just tied to the ritual but is its very heart. Their initial distrust deepens into a profound attachment, but Thanos is bound by an oath to protect the ritual at all costs, knowing that without it, both the village and he himself will lose their essence. Mirra faces a painful choice: to free the werewolves, risking the disruption of balance and losing Thanos, or to preserve order, sacrificing her own freedom and chance at happiness. Their love becomes a reflection of an ancient conflict—between sacrifice for the greater good and the pursuit of personal freedom.
